Close to 200 years old, this really stunning. Original door bolts and hinges, pegged joints used in construction and a ton of character! New lock, key and feet... Best not missed š
Some remains of old newspaper to the bottom and writing on the right door. Can be removed prior to delivery if you wish...
Two new, clean and sturdy removable shelves have been fitted.
With an internal depth of 44cm it could be used as a wardrobe with lighter clothing, we could fit a rail for you. However, if you want it to go upstairs then you will need a large staircase with no turns. Help will be required. It's still quite heavy even with the doors off and the shelves removed.
Fabulous rustic charm with minor battle scars, a decent helping of old worm (long dead/ sorted in the stripping process) but it just adds to the character. As with everything we sell, prepared ready for immediate use with a good ready to go feel. Superb! š
