We believe we must have one of the lowest return rates in the industry. The average is less that one item per year! This is usually down to to the item being the wrong size for the intended purpose.

Please check your chosen item is suitable before purchase. Please measure carefully. Most items are larger than they look in the photos...

Please allow that our items are old or, in the case of reproduction pieces, have been distressed to some extent. All items will have signs of use and minor marks. Anything more than this will have been covered in the description/ photos. We are always happy to chat about the items prior to purchase or you would be welcome to view.

As we carry out most of our free deliveries personally, you will have the opportunity to check the item is as described. If it has been misdescribed or not in the condition we have stated, we will take it back at no charge to you.

For any other reason, such as but not limited to it being the wrong size, can't get it into/ where you want in your property, colour is not what you want or you have simply changed your mind then a return charge will be made and deducted from your refund. The cost will vary depending on your location but will be between £29 (local deliveries) up to £150 (Southern Scotland).

If we do not meet you at delivery or it is delivered by another company, you have 14 days to notify us that you wish to return. 

All items must be returned to us in the original condition. Most of the time we deliver our items personally and they are blanket wrapped for the journey. If you decide to use a third party service to return, you must ensure the item is suitably packaged to fully protect against damage.

In all cases, the buyer is responsible for return costs unless the item is not as described or has been damaged in transit. At delivery, please check the item before the van leaves and notify the driver.

Once the item is returned to us and we have checked the condition against original images we will refund the original cost of the item in full.

We delivery most items free of charge. If you choose to pay extra for a quicker delivery either by ourselves or a third party country, then we consider this an optional purchase and it not refundable other than if the item is misdescribed or damaged in transit. At delivery, please check you item before the van leaves and notify the driver.
