A gorgeous & big old pine double door wardrobe. Early 20th century in period, continental in origin. Hand waxed. A fabulous old stripped pine look with tons of character and a great colour. Superb quality! ❤️
There is a rail high up and a removable shelf (later replacement) lower down. There is enough height to have another rail lower down or add shelves - it once had height adjustable shelves which could be remade. Storage heaven 😀
With an exceptional internal depth of 49 cm it takes modern (42cm) hangers with ease, which is not always the case with old wardrobes. However, its overall not too deep so ideal for space saving.
Good rustic character with this one - minor battle scars, some old worm character (don't worry, the stripping process kills it off/ prevents it returning) - not much and only mentioned for completeness. Original lock and key to the door. Prepared ready for immediate use and all for the price of some mass produced high street junk. What more could you want? Just don't miss it!
